01. 200+ keywords, not 20. Do research and use tools like http://inventory.overture.com and Wordtracker
02. Negative keywords and [phrase matching] and "phrase matching"
03. Local organization of campaigns and groups (Campaign 1: Bicycles, Group1: Ten Speeds, Group2: Dirt Bikes)
04. Groups clusters in a very tight match between phrases and ads
05. Headlines match keywords (ie Ad for "red wagon" keywords has "red wagon" in the headline)
06. Take visitors to a highly specific landing page, usually not your home page
07. Bid conservatively and win with high CTRs, not high bids
08. Always rotate and split test your ads & play 'beat my control'
09. Change on thing at a time and get at least 30 responses from your best ad before deleting the loser
10. Tricks: Verb changes and capitalization, URL, directory & subdomain changes
11. Track individual campaigns to opt-in & sales conversion rates
12. Delete non-converting keywords and cut your ad costs by 30%-70%
